Our home service area

Based Here. Ready to Inspect at Your Location.

Truck Inspectors LLC is based in West Palm Beach, and this is our primary local service area. We help owner-operators, contractors, delivery businesses and fleet managers arrange annual inspections without a separate drive to an inspection station.

Choose a suitable place where your vehicles can stay available during the visit: a warehouse yard, contractor’s lot, business parking area or jobsite. If your business is in West Palm Beach but your trucks return to a yard elsewhere, send that actual inspection address.

Have several vehicle types? List each truck and trailer in one request. We can inspect the selected units together, so you can coordinate drivers, keys and access for a single appointment.

A wide range of commercial vehicles

Truck, Trailer, Van and Bus Inspections

Your fleet may be a single delivery truck, a pickup with an equipment trailer or several different vehicle configurations. Tell us what you operate so we can plan the visit around the units you need inspected.

Semi-Truck Tractors

Annual inspections for individual tractors and tractors in commercial fleets. Include each trailer you also want inspected.

Box & Delivery Trucks

Box trucks and commercial delivery vehicles used for moving, distribution, supplies and local delivery routes.

Dump & Work Trucks

Commercial trucks used by construction, landscaping and trade businesses, inspected at a suitable yard or jobsite.

Pickups & Vans

Commercial pickups, towing vehicles and vans. Smaller vehicles and combinations can have different requirements depending on how they are used.

Commercial Trailers

Semi-trailers, equipment trailers and utility trailers. Each trailer is a separate inspection unit, including one normally paired with a truck.

Buses & Mixed Fleets

Commercial buses and appointments combining multiple vehicle types. You can schedule only the units that are due.

Hands-on inspection service

An In-Person Inspection and Clear Records

Our qualified inspector physically examines your vehicle, records the findings and explains issues that prevent a passing result. The appointment includes the inspection and documentation your business can keep with its vehicle records.

What We Examine

Applicable components include brakes, steering, suspension, tires and wheels, lighting, coupling devices, frame, fuel and exhaust systems, and windshield and wipers.

The inspection follows the requirements applicable to the vehicle and its equipment. See our guide to the annual inspection appointment.

What You Receive

A completed printed inspection report, with passing documentation and an inspection decal when the vehicle meets the applicable requirements.

Completed reports are also available through the Client Portal, where you can find and download your inspection records.

This is an annual vehicle inspection appointment, separate from an enforcement roadside inspection. Passing documentation depends on the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection.

Common questions

West Palm Beach DOT Inspection Questions

Are you based in West Palm Beach?

Yes. Truck Inspectors LLC is based in West Palm Beach and provides mobile inspection service at customer locations. Our office and mailing address is not a drop-off or drive-in inspection station.

What days can I schedule an inspection?

Our regular Palm Beach County schedule is Monday through Saturday. Request your preferred date ahead of time; same-day appointments are rarely available.

Can you inspect one truck, or do I need a fleet?

One truck or trailer is welcome. The first unit is $100. Each additional unit inspected during the same appointment at the same location is $80.

Can different vehicle types share one appointment?

Yes. You can include tractors, box trucks, pickups, vans, buses and trailers in one request. List every unit you want inspected, including each trailer. You do not need to include vehicles that are not due for inspection.

Does a truck and trailer count as one unit or two?

Two. Each vehicle receives its own inspection. A truck and trailer inspected together at the same location cost $180 total: $100 for the first unit and $80 for the second.

Can you inspect at a warehouse, jobsite or shared yard?

Yes, provided you have permission to use the location and there is a suitable, safe area to work. Include gate instructions and an on-site contact. Arrange for the vehicles to remain available and clear of active loading or other work.

What if my company address is different from the vehicle location?

Use the address where the vehicles will actually be inspected. If they return to a yard outside West Palm Beach, include that location so we can plan the visit. Our service-area page shows the broader route schedule.

What happens if a vehicle does not pass?

We document the findings and explain the issues. Inspection fees apply whether the vehicle passes or fails. Minor issues can sometimes be corrected during the visit, and some repairs may be verified with acceptable documentation. If an on-site reinspection is required, it is a new appointment at our regular rates. See the full reinspection policy.

Can I get copies of the inspection reports later?

Completed reports are available through the Client Portal. If you need help finding a report, contact us with the inspection date, unit number or VIN.
